Description
Mild steel horseshoe shims, laser cut and made to order, with an average lead time of 3 to 4 working days. Choose 0.9mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm or 20mm thick, in 50 x 50mm, 75 x 75mm, 100 x 100mm or 150 x 150mm, with a slot for M12, M16 or M20 bolts.
Shims from 0.9mm to 3mm are cut from CR4 cold-rolled steel, and 4mm to 20mm from S275JR structural steel. The open slot slides around a bolt or fixing that is already in place, so you can space, level or align a joint without taking it apart. Mild steel is bare carbon steel, so paint or coat it for outdoor or damp use.
