Delivery Information
At Metal Parts Direct, we aim to make delivery as smooth and reliable as the parts we produce. Whether you’re ordering standard laser-cut components or custom-cut metal parts, every order is carefully packed and dispatched with speed and accuracy. We work with trusted couriers to ensure your components arrive safely, on time, and ready to use.
How much does delivery cost?
Orders under £100 ex VAT carry a delivery charge of £9 + VAT, orders over £100 ex VAT benefit from free delivery.
Selecting a delivery service
The service chosen for your order will depend on two things:
- Size
- Total weight
Smaller, lighter packages are boxed up and transported using a fairly standard courier service. This option is only available to orders that are under 80kgs in weight and whose total dimensions are less than 1000mm x 1000mm in size.
Larger and / or heavy packages are booked onto a pallet network to be delivered.
Tracking your order
Once your order has been logged onto the relevant courier database, it is given a unique consignment number. This number can be used to track your parcel through the courier system.
Although the couriers do not give us a time slot for deliveries, we can use this number to check the location of your parcel and give you an idea of when it will arrive.
